FILTERPANELOPEN command
Opens the Filter panel.

Description
Opens the Filter panel to display it in the current workspace. The Filter panel appears at the same size and location that it did before it was closed or collapsed. Like any other dockable panel, the Filter panel can be either floating, docked or stacked.
The Filter panel allows you to create or modify a selection set of entities based on specified rules.

Show filter rules in bubble view
Displays filter rules as bubbles, which can be edited by double-clicking them.
Show filter rules in table view
Displays filter rules as table items, allowing direct editing from the panel. This is the default option.
New unsaved filter
Manages entity selection by allowing you to define a filter or modify an existing one.

- Allows you to create a new filter.
- Revert changes
- Undoes all changes for the current filter.Note: An asterisk (*) appears next to the filter name when the filter has unsaved changes.
- Save filter
- Saves a new filter or applies changes to the current filter.
When saving new filters, the Save Filter dialog box appears allowing you to enter a filter name. To save changes to a new filter, click the right-side arrow to open a drop-down menu and select Save as.
Note: Filters are listed in the Saved filters section of the panel and saved in the Filters program folder (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Bricsys\BricsCAD\V26x64\en_US\Support\Filters).
- Add rule
- Opens the Add rule dialog box to select an entity property to be added as a rule for the current filter. For more information, see the Add rule dialog box article.Important: The added rules are organized into a rule set that requires all of its properties to be met. You can create more rule sets, separated by the OR operator. Entities are eligible for selection when they meet at least one rule set.

- Allows you to edit the current property.
- Operator
- Controls the relationship between the property and the value. Click the current operator to display the list of all operators and change it to a different one.
- Value
- Displays the value of the selected property. Click the current value to choose a different one.
- Pick value from an entity
- Allows you to specify a value by selecting it from an entity.
- Remove rule
- Deletes the selected rule from the current filter.
- AND
- Opens the Add rule dialog box to add an additional rule to the rule set.
- Menu
- Opens a menu with additional options for adding rule sets.
- Add "OR" rule
- Adds a new rule set to the filter.
- Duplicate
- Duplicates the selected rule set.
- Clear
- Deletes all rules from the selected rule set.
- Remove
- Deletes the selected rule set.
- Select Entities
- Selects the entities of the drawing that meet the rules of the current filter.
Click the right-side arrow to open a drop-down menu containing additional selection options.
- Apply to selection
- Applies the filter only to the current selection set.
- Add to selection
- Adds the filtered entities to the current selection set.
- Remove from selection
- Removes the filtered entities from the current selection set.
- Show entities
- Shows the filtered entities in the drawing.
- Hide entities
- Hides the filtered entities from the drawing.
- Isolate entities
- Isolates the filtered entities in the drawing.
Saved filters
Displays the list of all saved filters. The number of total saved filters is shown in brackets. Click the three dots on the right to Rename, Remove, or Duplicate a saved filter. You can also select, deselect or update selection sets based on that filter.
Click a saved filter to set it as current. The filter name and rules are displayed instead of the New unsaved filter section, allowing you to edit them.
