Open a document

The Transfer tool makes it possible to open a document from Bricsys 24/7 with a software on your device. This way you can change the document immediately and upload it directly to Bricsys 24/7 as a revision.
When you double click on a document in the Bricsys 24/7 structure (right side of the Transfer tool) a local document will be saved on your device and will be opened with a software on your own device. Now a green dot will appear next to the Document name.
A dot indicates that there is a local copy of the document from Bricsys 24/7 available on your device.
A green dot indicates that the Document which is stored on your local device is exactly the same document as the document on Bricsys 24/7.
An orange dot indicates that the Document which is stored on your local device is different from the document on Bricsys 24/7.
If you open a document through the Transfer tool, then you change it and save it, the green dot will change into an orange dot. As mentioned before, this means that the document on my local device differs from the document on Bricsys 24/7. Once the dot is orange (differs from the document on Bricsys 24/7) you can choose to upload the changed document as a revision of the original document on Bricsys 24/7. You can perform this by right-clicking on the document (in the transfer tool interface) and by selecting the “upload as revision” action.
