Description

Generates volume sections for each floor and ceiling found in a Point Cloud representing a building.

Options within the command

Full
Automatically detects floors for the entire Point Cloud.
Selection
Specifies the Point Cloud area where to detect floors.
Create spatial elements
Choose Yes to let the command create spatial elements based on the detected floors height.
Note:
  • The newly defined spatial elements can be visualised in the Spatial Locations Manager dialog box that can be accessed by launching the BIMSPATIALLOCATION command.
  • With the Story Bar open (STORYBAR system variable is set to 1 or 2), you can easily switch between the defined floors in Top View Mode to start creating walls.
