Sheetset setup dialog box
The Sheetset Setup dialog box provides the settings that are used for plotting and publishing.
Sheetset: shows the path of the sheetset data file (.dst) that stores the associations and information that defines a sheet set.
Template: shows the path of the current template that contains the page setups for all new sheets. Click Browse () to change the template.
Layout: selects on which layout (different paper sizes) the section results will be generated.
The Viewports tab lists all sheets.
The Sections tab lists all sections. For each section with an empty Current Destination field, a viewport and sheet view are generated.
- Included: specifies which sections you want to generate.
- Name: displays the name of the section.
- Model: displays the name of the model where the section plane is defined.
- Type: displays the section type.
- Unit: displays the drawings unit.
- Width: displays the section plane width.
- Height: displays the section plane height.
- Scale: displays the initial viewport scale (used when generating the initial section result). It can be changed by double-clicking and selecting a new scale form the drop-down list.
- Current Destination: displays the destination .dwg file of the section.
Click Sheets to preview each sheet (within the selected layout).
Click the Configuration tab.
- Under Sheets Folder you may change the name of the folder where the sheets will be stored.
- Under Categories you can change the Prefix and Number From for each Section Type.
- Under Margins you can set the margins of the page.
For example, users may set other values than default ones for:
- 'sheets_folder' name of the folder that will be created and used by the sheetset setup dialog
- sheet_margins_metric or imperial
- 'number_width' not present in UI but will be used when set in XML. This number defines the number of chars being used for the sheet numbers: e.g. set to 5, with number_from set to 100 and prefix to A, will generate A-00100, A-00101.
- .'models_folder' unused for now, etc.
Click Create Sheets. An overview of the project displays and the sheets are generated.
