Note: The new user attribute is listed in the Civil point Properties panel (1). You can also edit the attribute value here.

Displaying a user-defined attribute on selected Civil points in a drawing

This section describes the procedure to add a new user attribute (attribute name: user-attribute) to an existing Civil point Label block. You can add the user attribute to a new user Label block in the same way.

  1. Launch the BEDIT command.
  2. Select the pre-defined Label block, Bsys_civilpoint_label, and click OK.
  3. Insert the text and type the attribute name: <user-attribute>, or similar. Insert the Attribute Definition and type the attribute name in the Value field in the Properties panel, to display the user-attribute name in a drawing. You can also use the text of an existing attribute (using the COPY and PASTE commands) and edit it accordingly.
  4. Save the block in the Block editor.
Note: The value of a user attribute is automatically displayed on Civil points to which the Symbol block, that was edited in a previous step, is assigned.
Note: Launch the REGEN command to refresh the Civil point labels in a drawing.
