Network license server: Service install failed.
Symptoms
Installing the network license server as a service fails with this message:
Service install failed.
Error: Access to Service Control Manager denied.
Cause
The process of the network license server(rlm.exe) does not have administrator rights.
Solution
- Close the DOS Window where rlm.exe is running.
- Right-click the shortcut License Server and choose Run as Administrator.
- Open the web interface and try again to install the service.
