Using the Bricsys 24/7 panel

About Bricsys 24/7

The Bricsys 24/7 panel helps team members to find and share their drawings.

Bricsys 24/7 enables project management, a collaboration between project teams, cloud computing security and task automation. The big advantage of this cloud-based service is that BricsCAD is directly linked to it by the Bricsys 24/7 panel.

Use the Bricsys 24/7 panel in BricsCAD BIM

  1. Open the Bricsys 24/7 panel by clicking on the Bricsys 24/7 icon () in the Tool panel on the right side of the workspace.
    Note: If you do not find this icon in the Tool panel, right-click the Tool panel and check Bricsys 24/7 in the drop-down menu, as is described in the Panels article.

  2. Log in to your 24/7 account if necessary (see Bricsys 24/7 panel help article).

Add a file to the project

  1. Open a folder where you want to add the file.
  2. Press the plus icon that opens the Add new document and choose a file to add.
  3. Choose a status from the drop down list, for example Draft.
  4. Enter a description.
  5. Press the Upload button.

The file is displayed in the folder list files and it is Available for download. The folder path for files downloaded through the Bricsys 24/7 panel is defined with the CLOUDDOWNLOADPATH system variable.

The file is opened by double-clicking it.

After editing and saving it, the status of the file is changed to Locally modified.

By right-clicking the file, you can choose to lock it for editing by another person.

You can upload the modified file with a new status and description. The file will be marked as Up-to-date.
