Annotative blocks
The annotative property of a block is either set when creating the block definition using the BLOCK command, or next, in the Drawing Explorer / Blocks dialog.
Annotative blocks can have an optional property to always match the orientation of a layout, independent from the rotation of the paper space viewport content.
To make a block definition annotative
- Launch the EXPBLOCKS command.The Drawing Explorer / Blocks dialog box appears. 
- If necessary, choose Detail View.Annotative block definitions have the Annotative icon (  ) in the Annotative column. ) in the Annotative column.
- Click in the Annotative field of a block definition to toggle the annotative property on/off.
To set the Match Orientation to Layout property
- Launch the EXPBLOCKS command.The Drawing Explorer / Blocks dialog box is displayed. 
- If necessary, choose Detail View.
- Tick the Match Orientation to Layout checkbox of a block definition to set the property.
