About Network licenses

A Network license allows multiple users on the same LAN (Local Area Network) to access BricsCAD via TCP/IP.

To make the Network license available for the client machines, the administrator installs the Network license server, activates the license, and then the server distributes the license seats.

The client computer requests a seat when BricsCAD launches and returns it when BricsCAD closes.

Note: The Bricsys Network License Server (NWLS V1.1.0) is available for Windows and Linux, but not for macOS. It can distribute licenses to Windows, Linux, and macOS client computers.
