Export document details and revisions
You can export document details and revisions to an Excel file:
- Click Files
in the toolbar.
- Click a documents folder
, or a binder
in the tool menu.
- Click the Ellipsis button
and click Export to .xls in the context menu.
The Export to .xls window appears.
- Select the options you want to export:
- Document details (enabled by default)
- Metadata
- Active workflow tasks
- Download subfolders as well (if applicable)
- Revisions
- Workflows
- Finished workflow tasks
- Communications
- Click the Download by email button.
A notification appears notifying you that The report is being created. A notification will be sent via email when it's done
.
The report is generated in the background, and an email will be sent to the user's email address with a link to download the report.
Note:
- Attachment links are available to download for 14 days after the email is sent.
- When the Workflows and Communications options are enabled, the corresponding information from the XLSX file appears in separate tabs named Workflows and Communications, respectively.
