Export document details and revisions

You can export document details and revisions to an Excel file:

  1. Click Files in the toolbar.
  2. Click a documents folder , or a binder in the tool menu.
  3. Click the Ellipsis button and click Export to .xls in the context menu.

    The Export to .xls window appears.

  4. Select the options you want to export:
    • Document details (enabled by default)
    • Metadata
    • Active workflow tasks
    • Download subfolders as well (if applicable)
    • Revisions
    • Workflows
    • Finished workflow tasks
    • Communications
  5. Click the Download by email button.

A notification appears notifying you that The report is being created. A notification will be sent via email when it's done.

The report is generated in the background, and an email will be sent to the user's email address with a link to download the report.

Note:
  • Attachment links are available to download for 14 days after the email is sent.
  • When the Workflows and Communications options are enabled, the corresponding information from the XLSX file appears in separate tabs named Workflows and Communications, respectively.
