SMBEAD command
Creates associative bead features along a curve lying on the flange.

Description
Creates associative bead features on sheet metal parts from 2D profiles. The feature is updated automatically when its defining profile is changed.
The difference with linear form features inserted from the library by BMINSERT command is that bead features created by the SMBEAD command can have an arbitrary trajectory.
Method
Select the flange face and the control curve to create the bead, using the default profile radius and round radius values.
Note:
- The default value of the profile radius is defined with the SMDEFAULTRIBPROFILERADIUSVALUE system variable.
- The default value of the round radius is defined with the SMDEFAULTRIBROUNDRADIUSVALUE system variable.
Options within the command
- Select control curve
- Selects a control curve along which the bead will be created. The selected curve can be a line, polyline, circle, arc, ellipse, elliptical arc or a spline. The 2D curve can be open or closed but it cannot intersect itself or other form features.
- Profile radius
- Sets the radius of the bead profile (1).
- Round radius
- Sets the radius of the smoothing fillets (2).
