Column Filter dialog box

Opens via: BOM Manager panel > Set column filter option

The Column Filter dialog box configures the column filter.

  1. Parameters

  3. Always keep parent rows

Parameters

Defines the parameters to use in the column filter.

Column name

Displays the name of the column you put a filter on. Selects the type of filter that should be applied to this column and configures it.

Note: The list of possible filters depends on the column content type.
Note: For all text filters, you can also specify whether they should be case-sensitive or case-insensitive.
Always accepted
All column values are accepted.
Equal to

Value should be equal to the target one.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Not equal to

Value should be not equal to the target one.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Less than

Value should be less than the target one.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Greater than

Value should be greater than the target one.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Less than or equal to

Value should be less than or equal to the target one.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Between

Value should be in the given range, both ends excluded.

Note: Appears with numerical columns.
Not in range

Value should not be in the given range, both ends excluded.

Exactly matches

The content of the column should exactly match the target one.

Does not match

The content of the column should be different from the target one.

The content of the column should start with the given text.

Always keep parent rows

Decides whether to keep and display also the parent rows if only the child rows match the filter criteria. If a parent row is removed, then its child rows will be promoted to its level.
