Extract from dialog box
Opens via: TINEXTRACT command
Depending on the selected entity (TIN surface, Grading, or TIN Volume Surface), the TINEXTRACT command opens the Extract from TIN Surface / Grading / TIN Volume Surface dialog box.
Major contours
Extracts the contours of a TIN surface, Grading, or TIN Volume Surface for an elevation according to major contours interval set.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the major contours will be placed.
- Interval
- Defines the major contours interval.
Minor contours
Extracts the contours of a TIN surface, Grading, or TIN Volume Surface for an elevation according to minor contours interval set.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the minor contours will be placed.
- Interval
- Defines the minor contours interval.
Points
Extracts all points on the surface.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the points will be placed.
Triangles
Extracts all triangular faces of the surface.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the triangular faces will be placed.
Borders
Extracts the outer boundary of the surface.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the outer boundary will be placed.
Intersection lines between surfaces
Extracts intersection lines between the selected surfaces.
- Second surface
- Allows you to select one of the available surfaces in the drawing from the drop down list.Note: You can also select the surface from the drawing area.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the intersection line entity will be placed.
Solids/Meshes
Extracts solids or meshes between the selected surfaces.
- Between surfaces
- Allows you to select one of the available surfaces in the drawing from the drop down list.Note: You can also select the surface from the drawing area.
- Vertical offset
- Defines the vertical offset value.
- Elevation
- Defines the elevation value.
- Extract As
- Sets the type of the extracted entity, solid or mesh.
- Layer
- Sets the layer where the solid or mesh will be placed.
- Separate cut and fill
- Toggles the creation of separate meshes for cutting and filling.
