When the Experimental mode is enabled, the Interference Manager panel is active.

To open the Interference Manager panel:
  • Launch the INTERFERENCEMANAGERPANELOPEN command.
  • Right-click a ribbon panel/toolbar and choose Interference Manager from the Panels list.
  • Launch the SCANINTERFERENCES command.

Opens the Configuration window to edit the scan.
Open results
Opens the Result window for the scan.
Clone
Creates a clone of the scan.
Remove
Removes the scan from the list.
Rename
Renames the scan.

Selection

Defines the entities that will be searched for interferences.

Inside one set of entities
Searches for interference in a specific set of entities.
Between two sets of entities
Searches for interference between two distinct sets of entities.
Selection set
Defines the entity selection set.
Select entities in the drawing
Allows you to select the entities directly from the drawing area.
Entire drawing
Selects all entities in the drawing.

  1. Save
  2. Highlight the interfering entities
  3. Update list
  4. List of the entities that interfere
Save
Saves the configuration and results of this scan. The Save interference scan dialog box opens.
Note: Saved scans can only be accessed during the current session and will be lost when the drawing is closed.
Highlight the interfering entities
Toggles the display of the interfering entities and the interference volumes in distinct colors, while the rest of the entities are transparent. Interfering entities are colored in cyan and yellow, while the interference volume is red.
Update list
Re-evaluates all outdated interference pairs in the result lists.
List of the entities that interfere
Lists all interference pairs found between entities and displays the interference volumes.

The list is sortable by any of its columns. Easily navigate through interference pairs using the up and down keys. Select one or multiple rows to visualize their interferences simultaneously on the model.

While keeping the Results window open as a checklist, you can execute commands, such as DMPUSHPULL or MANIPULATE to resolve geometric interference.

Status
Displays the status of the interfering entities.
Interference
Entities are interfering.
Outdated
One of the interfering entities might be updated.
Resolved
Interference between entities has been resolved.
Cannot be found
One of the interfering entities cannot be found. It might be deleted or unloaded.
Position
Displays the position number of the pair of interfering entities.
Entity 1
Displays the first entity in the pair of interfering entities. It is colored cyan in the model.
Entity 2
Displays the second entity in the pair of interfering entities. It is colored yellow in the model.
Volume
Displays the value of the interference volume. The interference volume is colored red in the model.
