Note:
  • The DISPLAYSCALING system variable specifies the scaling factor the program uses for its interface, including dialogs, icons, and text.
  • (Windows only) By default, the current display scaling matches the Windows font DPI scaling setting. If this is not the case, Windows applies a generic extra scaling itself, which causes the display to become blurry. To avoid this, follow these steps:
    • For a single monitor: Right-click the BricsCAD application in Windows Explorer or on the desktop, then go to Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings and check the Program DPI setting. Here you can choose from the drop down list to use the DPI that it is used for the main display when you sign to Windows or when you open BricsCAD.
    • For a dual/multiple monitor setup: For optimal display clarity, it is recommended to use the same DPI settings for all monitors.
