SPASURFACETOL system variable
Surface tolerance
Controls the maximum distance between a facet edge and the true surface. The value is dependent on the model size.
This variable is ignored for output to STL and PDF if the FACETRES system variable is in use.
Note: Spa is short for Spatial, the maker of ACIS.

Note:
- Larger values mean the facets can have a larger distance to the true surface which allows to make the faceting coarser and faster.
- Negative values apply relative to the scale of the entity, so a sphere receives the same number of facets regardless of its size.
- Positive values use an absolute measure for the amount of facets used, so a small sphere gets fewer facets than a large one. Be sure to consider the entity size.
