How to manage OpenType fonts with PostScript outlines

Symptoms

BricsCAD does not support OpenType fonts with PostScript outlines. It only supports TrueType fonts or OpenType fonts that use TrueType outlines.

To check if the OpenType font contains PostScript outlines, open the font file in the Windows Font folder. This information appears under the name and version of the font.

Solution

Convert the OTF file to a TTF file using an online converter.
