Select edges to create chamfer or [Enable advanced mode/selection options (?)]: (Select the edges you want to chamfer. Press and hold the TAB key to select hidden geometry. Press Enter to stop selecting.)
Specify constant symmetrical offset or [Enable advanced mode]: (Specify the chamfer offset or choose an option.)
The chamfer is applied dynamically; the manipulator displays.
To specify the chamfer offset, do one of the following:
- Click to accept the current value in the ruler.
- Type a value, then press Enter.

Enable advanced mode |
Allows to create variable chamfers. The options are available in the Chamfer toolbar: Prompts you: Specify dimensions kind [ASymmetrical/ANgular/Variable Symmetrical/VAriable aSymmetrical/VAriable aNgular]: - choose an option. All advanced mode chamfer procedures start by creating a symmetrical offset, which is then modified by specifying offsets and/or angles. Before specifying the final value you can press the TAB key to modify previously specified values.
