Clips a PDF underlay with a rectangular or polygonal boundary, and inverts the boundary.
Accessing the Command

Select PDF underlay: (Choose a pdf underlay)
Enter PDF clipping option [ON/OFF/Delete/New] <New>: (Enter an option, or else press Enter to execute the default option)

Select PDF underlay |
Selects the PDF underlay to clip: click the frame of the PDF underlay, not the body of the PDF itself. |
ON |
Turns the clipping boundary on; the area outside the clipping boundary is hidden from view. |
OFF |
Turns the clipping boundary off; all of the PDF underlay is again visible. The clipping boundary is saved. |
Delete |
Deletes an existing clipping boundary. |
Invert |
Inverts the clipping boundary. Initially, the PDF underlay outside of the clipping boundary is hidden. Use this option to invert it, so that the portion of the PDF inside the boundary is hidden, and that outside is visible. You may find it more convenient to use the Misc section of the Properties panel to turn the clipping on and off, and to invert it. |
New |
Draws a new clipping boundary: When no boundary exists, you are prompted: Enter PDF clipping type [Polygonal/Rectangular] <Rectangular> - (type P or R):
When a boundary already exists you are first prompted: Delete old boundary? [Yes/No] - (type Y or N):

Draws multi-sided clipping boundaries; prompts you:
As you pick points, the program ghosts the polygon. Type U to undo the previous point. |

The program draws the rectangle. |
