Moves 3D solids perpendicular to a selected face by dragging that face. Optionally preserves connections to other solids.
Accessing the Command
Commandline: DRAG

Prompts you in the command bar:
Select planar face(s) [selection options (?)]: (select a face of a 3D solid)
Entities in set: 1
Select planar face(s) [selection options (?)]:: (select more faces, then right click or press Enter to stop selecting.)
The selected face(s) move(s) dynamically. The manipulator displays, the distance from the current position of the selected face displays in the dynamic entry field.
Specify distance to drag solid or [Disable connectivity mode/Enable connectivity mode]:
Optionally, do the following:
- Press the Ctrl-key to disable/enable connectivity mode.
- Select a different reference face:

- Repeatedly press the TAB key to cycle all parallel faces of the solid being dragged.
- Move the cursor to a parallel face of another solid, then repeatedly press the TAB key to select a face of another solid. All parallel faces under the cursor are recognized.

To specify the new position of the solid(s), do one of the following:

Specify a point.

Type a value in the dynamic distance field.

Move the cursor to adjust the value in the dynamic distance field, then click.
Optionally zoom in/out to set the snap increment size of the ruler.
