Accessing the Command

The layout of the QuickDraw cursor represents the room being created:
Left to right: placed freely, aligned with one existing walls, aligned with two existing walls.
Prompts you:
Current settings: Room Height: 3000, Wall Width: 250, Slab Thickness: 250
Select first point or [room Height/wall Width/slab Thickness/Auto adopt sizes]: (Select a point to define the first corner of the room or choose an option.)
Select second point: (Select the a point to define the opposite corner of the room.)
Command Options
Option |
Description |
Room Height |
Sets the height of the room. The height is saved to the Default Room Height system variable and will be used until set differently. Default room height = 3000 mm The height of the exterior walls = Room Height + Slab Thickness. |
Wall Width |
Sets the width of the walls being created. The width is saved to the Default Wall Width system variable and will be used until set differently. Default wall width = 250 mm. |
Slab Thickness |
Sets the slab thickness of the room. The thickness is saved to the Default Slab Thickness system variable and will be used until set differently. Default slab thickness = 250 mm. |
Select first point |
Defines the first corner of a room.

Defines the opposite corner of a room. When creating the exterior walls of a building, do one of the following:

Auto adopt sizes |
Allows to copy the wall width and room height from an existing wall, thus overriding the value of the Default Room Height and Default Wall Width system variables. Prompts you: Auto adopt sizes On/OFF <On> - (choose an option.) Note: The value of Auto adopt sizes is reset to ON when you close and restart BimQuickDraw. |

Hover the cursor over the icon (
