Prompts you:
Select planar reference solid to which the edge detail is related. The detail will be copied to edges of similar solids. [selection options (?)]: (Select a planar solid (1).)

Select planar reference solid to which the edge detail is related. The detail will be copied to edges of similar solids. [selection options (?)]:: (Select more planar solids or press Enter.)
Select detail objects to be copied. These should be solids or faces that are parallel to an edge of the reference solid. [selection options (?)]: (Select the detail object(s) (2).)

Description |
Inflate first |
Expands the sensitive zone to include similar solids which are not connected yet. The edges of the initially detected detail are moved outward over a specified distance. Prompts you: Enter inflation distance: (Type a value). |
Propagate to edges with similar orientation only |
Yes: Only edges with similar orientation are selected. In the above example only the horizontal top face of the walls are selected. No: All minor faces of similar planar solids are selected. In the above example also the bottom face of the walls would be selected. |
Choose location of detail relative to edge: |
Inside: The propagated detail is placed inside the base solids; the volume of the detail is subtracted from the base solids. Outside: The propagated detail is placed outside the base solid; the volume of the base solids is not modified. |
Save Detail |
A File dialog displays. You are prompted to specify a file name to save the detail. |
Save Detail to Library |
The Save Detail dialog displays. See the BIMCREATEDETAIL command. |
Apply All |
Accept or reject suggestions by clicking on the tick. See the Apply option in the BIMPROPAGATE command. |
