Creates a broken view on drawing views generated by the ViewBase command in a paper space layout.

Accessing the Command

Prompts you in the command bar:
Select drawing view: (Click inside a drawing view)
Select first point [Type/Vertical]: (Pick a point or enter an option)
Select second point: (Pick another point)
Command Options

Selects the drawing view to generate the broken view from - click inside a drawing view. |
Select first point | Specifies the first plane of the cut - pick a point in the view. |

Allows to set the broken symbol type; prompts you: Select the type of broken symbol [Spline/Zigzag/Line/SmallZigzag] <SmallZigzag> - Choose an option.
Edit the properties of the Broken Symbol in the Properties panel:

Vertical |
Aligns the symbol along the Y axis. |
Horizontal |
Aligns the symbol along the X axis. |
Select second point |
Specifies the second plane of the cut - pick a point in the view. |

The default direction of the symbol is based on the size of the viewport:

Edit Grips
You can edit break symbol grips.
Select the break symbol.
2 Grips display:
- Controls the position of the first break plane in the model space
- Controls the position of the second break plane in the model space
