After selecting the entities, their relation to their reference curves will automatically guide you to inserting the copy in similar locations.
The command can be executed in pre-pick mode : select entities first, then launch the command; or post-pick mode: select entities in the command workflow.
Accessing the Command

If a selection set exists:
Select reference curves or [Region select]: (Select the first reference curve.)
Entities in set: 1
Select reference curves or [Region select]: (Select more reference curves, or press Enter.)
Pick first point of rectangular window or [Polygonal]: (Specify a point or choose an option.)
A selection rectangle displays dynamically.
Selected entities display in green; candidate guidelines display in blue.
Opposite Corner: (Specify a point. Make sure the selection rectangle overlaps at least one candidate reference curve entity.)
All entities within the selection window will be copied. Linear entities crossing the selection window will be used as reference curves.
A copy of the selected entities displays dynamically.
Blue arrows indicate the anchor points (3) of the reference curves.
Pick to place entities or [Region]: (Move the selection over a similar location or choose an option.)
The reference curves snap to matching lines under the cursor.
(Move the cursor to the other side of the reference curves to mirror the selection set.)
(Click to place the copy or type a distance in the dynamic entry fields. Press the TAB key to jump to the other field. Press Enter to confirm the distance.)
(Repeat the previous steps to place more copies or press Enter to stop.)
|Rectangle||Creates a rectangular selection window. Prompts you to specify two opposite points of the selection rectangle.|
|Creates a polygonal selection window. Prompts you to specify multiple points to define the selection polygon. Press Enter or right click to stop adding points.|
|Pastes the entities inside the selection window.|
Pastes the clipped area inside the selection window.
Copy - makes copies entities, including repeating ones.
CopyClip - copies selected entities to the Clipboard, which can then be pasted in the same or other drawings.
MInsert - inserts arrayed copies of blocks.
