Accessing the Command

Keyboard: pdfimport
RibbonTab | Panel: Insert | Import

Prompts you:
Select pdf underlay or [File] <File>: (Choose an option.)
Command Options
Option |

Underlay |
Imports the all or part of the content of an attached PDF document.
Specify first corner of area to import or [Polygonal/All/Settings] <All>: Choose an option.

Polygonal: Imports a portion of the PDF underlay. Prompts you:
Specify first point: Pick a point. Specify next point or [Undo]: Pick a point. Specify next point or [Undo]: Pick a point or press Enter to stop Keep, Detach or Unload PDF underlay? [Keep/Detach/Unload] <Unload>: Choose an option.
- Keep: Keeps the PDF underlay.
- Detach: Deletes the PDF underlay in the drawing.
- Unload: Unload the PDF underlay. You can reload the PDF underlay in the Drawing Explorer / PDF Underlays ...

All: Imports the entire PDF underlay.

Settings: Displays the PDF Import Settings in the Settings dialog box:

Imports a PDF document.
Displays a File dialog box:
- Select a PDF document, then double click or press the OK button.
- Prompts you: Specify page number to import or list pages [?/Settings] <1>:
Do one of the following:
- Press Enter to import page 1.
- Hit the question mark key (?) to list the available pages in the selected PDF document.
Hit the F2 function key to see the list in the Prompt History window. Specify page number to import or list pages [?/Settings] <1>: Type the page number you want to import.
- Specify insertion point <0, 0>: Specify the insertion point in the drawing.
- Specify scale <1.>: Specify the scaling factor for the inserted geometry.
- Specify rotation <0.>: Specify the rotation angle.
The conent of the PDF document is inserted.
