NUMBER command
Creates incremental number tags for BIM entities.

Description
Provides the first index for the selected entities.
Note: Integer numbers are accepted.
The command opens the Number command panel.
- Select entities:

- Select entities in the drawing: choose which entities to select.
- Entire drawing: by default, the panel selects all BIM entities in the model space.
- Numbering Options

- Start index: sets the index from which to start the numbering.
- Increment: sets the increment used for numbering
- Field Width: sets the total length of the number field. This will add the appropriate amount of leading zeros in front of Arabic numbers, so that the length of the resulting string is equal to the field width.
- Formatting

- Prefix: sets a prefix for the numbering.
- Suffix: sets a suffix for the numbering.
- Formatting style: choose a number style from the drop-down list.
- Sorting Options
- Allows to specify which axis to order first.
- Overwrite Options
- Allows to overwrite or to keep existing numbers.

- Sets the increment for the numbering.

- Defines the number style.

- Define Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3, ...).

- Define roman uppercase numbers (I, II, III, ...).

- Define roman lowercase numbers (i, ii, iii, ...).

- Define uppercase letters (A, B, C, ...).

- Define lowercase letters (a, b, c, ...).
- Field Width
- Sets the total length of the number field. This will add the appropriate amount of leading zeros in front of Arabic numbers.
- Entities sorting
- Allows to specify the sorting order.
- X
- Based on the value of the x-coordinate, from low to high.
- Y
- Based on the value of the y-coordinate, from low to high.
- Z
- Based on the value of the z-coordinate, from low to high.
- None
- Uses selection order, unless the option Entire Drawing was selected, in which case it will order from oldest to most recent.
- Tolerance
- Sets the distance tolerance for sorting in comparison. Two solid's centroids within a given tolerance are considered equal, and they will be numbered in selection order.
- Overwrite Numbers
- Allows to overwrite or to keep existing numbers.
- Kept
- Keeps existing numbers.
- Overwritten
- Overwrites existing numbers.
- Change Selection
- Allows to change the selection set.
