BMEXPLODESTEPEDIT command
Manages the representation steps.
Description
Allows you to create, delete, merge, copy, split, and reorder representation steps, as well as save and change the current step.
Method
Select a representation created with BMEXPLODE command and open it for edit (from Mechanical Browser or with the -BEDIT command).
Perform the necessary operations to get the desired representation following the below options. Do not forget to save the current step.
Then, save changes using the BCLOSE command with the option Save.
Options within the command
- Add step
- Adds a new step after the last one. The new step will be automatically set as current. All unsaved modifications of the representation will be lost.
- cOpy step
- Copies an existing step.Note: Step names are case sensitive.
- merGe
- Merges a step with other specified steps, regardless of their positions.
- Move step
- Moves a step up (-) or down (+) in the list.
- Remove step
- Removes a step as well as associated movements of parts. The positions of parts in the representation will be updated accordingly.
- reName step
- Renames a step.
- Save current state
- Saves the current positions of parts in the current step.
- set CAMera position
- Associates an exploded view step with a camera position that will be automatically set during animation and used as default orientations for generated views for this particular step. If no specific camera position is associated with a step, it will inherit the camera position from the initial step. For newly created exploded views, the initial step will get the same camera position as the model.
- set Current step
- Sets the step as the current and updates the parts in the exploded representation according to this step.
- sPlit step
- Splits the step to a sequence of steps, each of them corresponding to exactly one part.
- Hide parts
- Hides the parts that is not involved in the current step.
- SHow parts
- Shows all parts of the current step.
- View options
- Sets a view option.
- list steps (?)
- Lists all steps.
