PARAMETRICROTATE command
Defines a parameter to be used by a rotate operation on entities of a parametric block.

Method
Allows you to rotate entities in a block. The appearance of the block can be controlled by changing the value of the parameter associated with the rotate operation.
The command can be launched from the Command line by typing PARAMETRICROTATE. Another way to launch this command is from the ribbon in a Drafting workspace. Go to the tab and click the Rotate tool button.
Note: The command works similarly to the PARAMETRICSTRETCH command, whose workflow is described in the article 2D parametric blocks.
Options within the command
- Select rotation center point
- Allows you to select a location point for the origin of the rotate vector.
- Select rotation arc start point
- Allows you to select a location point for the head of the rotation arc.
- Select rotation arc end point (hold CTRL to switch direction)
- Allows you to select a location point for the end of the rotation arc.
- Select/deselect entities which can be affected by the operation
- Allows you to edit the selection of entities to be affected by the rotate operation. All selected entities will be highlighted.
- Enter name for the operation parameter
- Allows you to give a name to the rotate parameter. The default name is Rotate.
The block entities that were selected will have their position adjusted according to the new value of the rotate parameter.

- Choose Yes to have the entities follow operation definition points when adjusted by other operation.
