-MOVEBLOCKSTOELEVATION command

Updates the Z value of a block's insertion point to match the value specified in the block attribute or in the corresponding GIS data via Command line.

BricsCAD Pro; BricsCAD Mechanical; BricsCAD BIM

Method

Select the blocks for which you want to update the elevations (Z coordinate).

You are prompted to edit the mapping for block elevations. You can further filter the selected blocks by name, or choose the map all option to proceed.

After selection, if the blocks have associated attributes or GIS fields, you are prompted to specify the property mapping for them as follows:

  • Specify property mapping for tag

The Command line lists all attribute tags assigned to the selected blocks, one by one, with the Elevation and none options available.

  • Specify property mapping for feature

The Command line lists all attributes in the format GIS Layer: Field name assigned to the selected blocks, one by one, with the Elevation and none options available.

Note: Choose the Elevation option only for the attribute tag or GIS field that you want to represent the block elevation, and the none option for all other attribute tags or GIS fields currently listed in the Command line.
