MATCHPERSPECTIVE command
Matches the current model space view with a background image.

Description
Matches the viewpoint of the model space with the apparent perspective view provided by a background image.
Method
The command automatically turns on the Perspective mode (PERSPECTIVE system variable).
If the drawing does not have a background image placed, the command also calls the BACKGROUND command to let you select the image.
The command prompts you to select a point in the model space first (or enter its coordinates), then its corresponding point on the background image.
- Match at least three pairs of points, preferably far apart.
- Select points on at least two lines, for a more accurate result.
Note: When picking points in the model space, you can manipulate the model for a better access to these.
When done, select the Match option or press Enter.

Options within the command
- Undo
- Cancels the last point selection and prompts you to select a new point.
- Match
- Matches the viewpoint of the model based on the points provided.
