-SECTIONLINES command
Creates section lines either between selected points or at user specified stations along the alignment or string.
Method
Select an alignment or a string in the drawing, specify the section line group name, and choose an option for applying stations.
Options within the command
- Specify section line group
- Allows you to set a section line group name or choose an existing one.
- Pick point along alignment or string
- Allows you to pick points along selected alignment or string to apply stations.
- Enter left width
- Allows you to set the left width value for station.
- Enter right width
- Allows you to set the right width value for station.
- Specify station
- Allows you to pick points for stations.
- Interval
- Creates stations by intervals. Additional parameters are required.
- Specify start station
- Allows you to define the start station.
- Specify end station
- Allows you to define the end station.
- Increment relative to
- Allows you to choose how increment parameters are defined.
- Absolute station
- Allows you to define each station position.
- Start station
- Allows you to define the start station position
- Specify increment along tangents
- Allows you to set the value for increment along tangents.
- Specify increment along curves
- Allows you to set the value for increment along curves.
- Specify increment along spirals
- Allows you to set the value for increment along spirals.
- Create section line at range start [Yes/No]
- Allows you to decide whether to add a section line at the start.
- Create section line at range end [Yes/No]
- Allows you to decide whether to add a section line at the end.
- Create section line at horizontal geometry points [Yes/No]
- Allows you to decide whether to add a section line at horizontal geometry points.
- Pick points
- Allows you to pick section line points from the drawing.
