TRIM command
Trims entities by a cutting line.

Method
There are two methods:
- Trims entities.
- Extends entities while holding down the Shift key.
Note:
- The following entities can be trimmed: lines, two and three dimensional polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, elliptical arcs, splines, rays and infinite lines.
- Cutting entities can be: lines, splines, polylines, arcs, circles, elliptical arcs, ellipses, rays, infinite lines, layout viewports.
- Selected circles, lines, or polylines consisting of only one segment entity that does not cross any other entities will be deleted.
Options within the command
- mOde
- Defines the mode in which the command is acting.Note: The TRIMEXTENDMODE system variable also controls the trim mode.
- cuTting edges
- Defines the cutting entities used as a boundary for trim.
- Fence
- Trims all entities that cross the selection fence. The selection fence is a series of temporary line segments. The selection fence does not form a closed loop.
- Crossing
- Trims entities within and crossing a rectangular area defined by two points.
- Edge
- Toggles between Extend and No extend.
- Projection
- Specifies the projection method used when extending objects.
- eRase
- Deletes the selected entity.
- Undo
- Undoes the last trim action.
