Description
Creates a 3D solid in the shape of a box with a rectangular or square base.
Method
- With its sides parallel to the X and Y axes
- With a rotation angle other than 0.

- Corner of box
- Center of box
- Opposite corner
- Length
- Width
- Height
To create a box with its sides parallel to the X and Y axes, start by setting the first corner of the box (or the center of the box for the Center option). Then, specify the opposite corner for the base of the box (or a corner of the base of the box for the Center option), to apply both the length (parallel to X axis) and width (parallel to Y axis). Finally, specify the height of the box.
To create a box with a different rotation angle, start by setting the first corner of the box (or the center of the box for the Center option). Then, select the Length of side option to set the box length and rotation angle. Finally, specify the width and height of the box.
Options within the command
- Center
- Allows you to begin creating a box by specifying the center of the box.
- Cube
- Allows you to specify a single distance to use for the length, width, and height of the box.
- Length of side
- Allows you to specify the length of the box in the XY plane at any rotation angle.
- 2Point
- Allows you to specify the height of the box by picking any two points.
