Defines materials in sections and calculates section volumes.

Description

Defines the earthwork materials needed between at least two TIN surfaces and a section line group. Optionally, create section views in which the material areas are displayed. It also allows generating table reports in the drawing or exporting to a CSV file.

First, opens the Select Section Line Group dialog box to select a section line group.

Then, the Create Material List dialog box opens allowing you to define the material list name, the base surface and the comparison surface for a simple calculation of cut and fill volumes between the two surfaces.

Note: A section line group can have multiple material lists.

Clicking the Create button opens the Calculate Section Volumes dialog box to define the earthwork materials and structural materials for section volume calculation.
