PANELIZE command
Creates a grid on the face of a 3D Solid, as a block reference or mesh.

Description
Creates a BIM Block component of the Grid BIM entity type over the face of a 3D Solid.
Method
Set the result entity (block reference or mesh), then select a face on a solid. A preview of the grid is displayed on the selected face.
Specify the grid's dimensions or the number of panels, or press Enter to accept the predefined values.
Options within the command
- Length U panels
- Sets the length of the panels in U direction (height).
- Length V panels
- Sets the length of the panels in V direction (width).
- Number U panels
- Number of panels in U direction (rows).
- Number V panels
- Number of panels in V direction (columns).
- Result
- Toggles between Polylines and Mesh.
- Polylines
- Creates the grid as a BIM Block component (a block reference with BIM properties) of the Grid BIM entity type. This is set as default.
- Mesh
- Creates the grid as a Mesh entity of the Grid BIM entity type.
Important: BIM Blocks are compatible with BricsCAD® V26 and later. Drawings with BIM Blocks can be opened with older BricsCAD® versions. However, when inserting BIM Blocks in BricsCAD® V25 or older, they lose their BIM data.
