VIEWSECTIONSTYLE command
Opens the Drawing explorer dialog box with the View Section Styles category selected.

Description
Opens the Drawing Explorer dialog box with the View Section Styles category selected to view and modify the styles in the current drawing.
The category contains the following panes:
- View Section Styles: lists all view section styles in the drawing.
- Edit View Section Style: allows the customization of the currently selected style.
- Preview: previews the currently selected style.

Method
Select a style in the View Section Style pane to display and modify its options in the Edit View Section Style pane, or to preview it in the Preview pane.
Options within the Edit View Section Style pane
- Identifier

- Text Style
- Specifies the text style used by the identifier text. To add a different text style, use the STYLE command to create it.
- Color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Height
- Specifies the height of the identifier.
- Standard (ISO/DIN)
- Sets the height value to standard dimensions. Choose a value from the drop-down list.
- Custom
- Sets the height value to a custom dimension.
- Offset
- Specifies the distance between the end lines and the identifiers.
- Position
- Determines where the identifiers are located.
- End of cutting plane
- Places the identifiers at the end of the cutting planes.
- Above direction arrow line
- Places the identifiers outside the section boundary, positioning one above and one below the arrow line.
- Above direction arrow symbol
- Places the identifiers outside the section boundary, positioning one above and one below the arrow symbol.
- Start of direction arrow
- Places the identifiers at the start of the arrows.
- End of direction arrow
- Places the identifiers at the end of the arrows.
- Hatch

- Section hatches
- Toggles the display of section hatching.
- Pattern
- Chooses a hatch pattern from the drop-down list.
- Color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Scale
- Chooses the hatch scale.
- Angles
- Sets the angle for the hatch pattern.
- Add
- Adds angles to the list.
- Delete
- Deletes the selected angle from the list.
Note: The first angle in the list is assigned to the first hatch, the second angle to the second hatch, and so on. If there are more sections than angles, the program cycles back to the first angle.

- Direction arrows
- Toggles the display of section arrows.
- Start symbol
- Specifies the look of the start symbol.
- End symbol
- Specifies the look of the end symbol.
- Arrow direction
- Specifies the direction of the arrow.
- Towards cutting plane
- Sets the direction of the arrow towards the cutting plane.
- Away from cutting plane
- Sets the direction of the arrow away from the cutting plane.
- Color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Size
- Specifies the size of the arrow.
- Standard (ISO/DIN)
- Sets the height value to standard dimensions. Choose a value from the drop-down list.
- Custom
- Sets the height value to a custom dimension.
- Extension length
- Specifies the length of the arrows.
- Cutting Plane

- Plane lines
- Toggles the display of cutting plane lines.
- Linetype
- Lists the available patterns. Click the Load... option from the drop-down list to open the Load Linetypes dialog box.
- Line color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Lineweight
- Specifies the weight of the lines.
- End and bend lines
- Toggles the display of end and bend lines.
- Linetype
- Lists the available patterns. Click the Load... option from the drop-down list to open the Load Linetypes dialog box.
- Line color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Lineweight
- Specifies the weight of the lines.
- Bend line length
- Specifies the length of the bend line.
- End line length
- Specifies the length of the end lines.
- End line overshoot
- Specifies the distance from the section to the end of the plane line.
- Label

- View label
- Toggles the display of labels.
- Text style
- Choose the style of the text from the drop-down list.
- Color
- Lists the available colors. Click the Select color... option from the drop-down list to open the Color dialog box.
- Height
- Specifies the height of the label.
- Standard (ISO/DIN)
- Sets the height value to standard dimensions. Choose a value from the drop-down list.
- Custom
- Sets the height value to a custom dimension.
- Offset
- Specifies the distance between the section view and the label.
- Position
- Determines where the label is located.
- Above view
- Places the label above the section view.
- Below view
- Places the label below the section view.
Note: Each option section and subsection is collapsible. Click the arrow next to a section or subsection name to collapse it. Toggling off a subsection automatically collapses it.
