Description

Creates a 3D polygon mesh in the shape of a circular or elliptical cylinder. Choose from a combination of options including center, radius, diameter, height, axis endpoints, and number of segments.

  1. Center
  2. Diameter
  3. Radius
  4. Height
  5. Segment

Method

This command has 2 methods to begin creating a cylinder:
  • Center of base of cylinder
  • Elliptical

Options within the command

Center of base of cylinder
Specifies the center of the base of cylinder.
Radius of base of cylinder
Specifies the radius of base of cylinder.
Diameter
Specifies the diameter of base of cylinder.
Elliptical
Specifies the first end of the ellipse axis.
Second end of ellipse axis
Specifies the second end of the ellipse axis.
Center
Specifies the center of the ellipse.
Endpoint of axis
Specifies the endpoint of the ellipse's axis.
Other axis
Specifies the radius of the other axis.
Center of second end
Specifies the center for the other end of the axis to create an oblique cylinder.
Height of cylinder
Specifies the height of the cylinder.
Number of segments
Specifies the number of isolines used to simulate the cylinder’s curved surface. The default value is 16.
