Description

Creates a 3D polygon mesh in the shape of a sphere. Choose from a combination of options including center, radius, diameter, and number of segments.

Method

There is one method to begin creating a sphere:

  • Center of sphere

Options within the command

Center of sphere
Specifies the center of the sphere.
Set radius of sphere
Specifies the radius of the sphere.
Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the sphere.
Number of longitudinal segments
Specifies the number of isolines, perpendicular to the xy-plane, used to simulate the sphere’s curved surface. The default value is 16.
Number of latitudinal segments
Specifies the number of isolines, parallel to the xy-plane, used to simulate the sphere’s curved surface. The default value is 16.
