BCPARAMETER command
Adds constraint parameters or converts dimensional constraints to constraint parameters.
Disclaimer

Creating and editing dynamic block definitions under BEDIT in Experimental mode is an experimental feature that may not yet be stable, and could be removed in the future.
Use the MANAGEEXPERIMENTALFEATURES command (or the EXPERIMENTALMODE system variable) to turn on or off experimental features, then restart BricsCAD.
The Experimental mode is turned off by default.
Description
Adds constraint parameters to entities in a dynamic block definition based on the selected constraint points or converts dimensional constraints to constraint parameters.
Method
Open the Block Editor in the Dynamic edit mode. Launch the command and select a constraint parameter type.
Select the constraint points manually or click Entity to automatically use the start and end points of the selected entity as constraint points, then place the dimension line.
The added constraint parameters are displayed in the:
- Parameters Manager panel under Dimensional Constraint Parameters and in the Mechanical Browser, with the Block Editor open in the Dynamic edit mode.
- Properties panel under Custom, while the dynamic block is selected.
Options within the command
- Entity
- Uses the start and end points of the selected entity or segment as constraint points.
- Linear
Creates a horizontal or vertical constraint parameter, based on dimension line and extension line origin locations.
- Horizontal
Creates a horizontal (X distance) constraint parameter between two points on different entities.
- Vertical
Creates a vertical (Y distance) constraint parameter between two points on different entities.
- Aligned
Creates an aligned constraint parameter for the length of a line, the distance between lines, a point and a line, or between points on entities.
- ANgular
Creates angular constraint parameter between two lines or polyline segments, similar to an angular dimension.
- Radius
Creates a radius constraint parameter on a circle, arc, or polyline arc segment.
- Diameter
Creates a diameter constraint parameter on a circle, arc, or polyline arc segment.
- Convert
Converts the selected dimensional constraints to constraint parameters.
