BMFORM command
Creates a new mechanical component or a mechanical block, and inserts it into the current drawing.

Description
Creates a new mechanical component as an internal reference in the current drawing. The selected solid(s) are removed from the current drawing.
Note: When the MECHANICALBLOCKS system variable is enabled (set to 1), BMFORM creates mechanical blocks by default.
Note: If necessary, run the BMMECH command first to initialize the mechanical structure in the current drawing.
Options within the command
- Local

Creates a new component and inserts it as a block reference into the current drawing.
Note: When MECHANICALBLOCKS system variable is enabled (set to 1), creates an internal mechanical block. Use BEDIT command to edit block definition.
- External
- Creates a new drawing which contains the selected solid(s) and can be saved with the Save Drawing As dialog box. The selected solid(s) are removed from the current drawing. The new drawing is inserted as an external reference in the current drawing.
- mechanical Component
- Creates a new mechanical component.
- mechanical Block
- Creates a new mechanical block.
- Template settings
- Opens the Settings dialog box at the BMFORMTEMPLATEPATH system variable to choose a template file.
