Creating and editing dynamic block definitions under BEDIT in Experimental mode is an experimental feature which may not yet be stable, and could be removed in the future.

Use the MANAGEEXPERIMENTALFEATURES command (or the EXPERIMENTALMODE system variable) to turn on or off experimental features, then restart BricsCAD®.

The Experimental mode is turned off by default.

Method

Place the table parameter, decide whether to display the Block Table custom property in the Properties panel, and select the number of grips for the parameter.

The Block Properties Table dialog box appears to let you create the table. See the Block Properties Table dialog box related article.

Each row in the table defines a different variation of the block reference, and can be accessed by the lookup grip.

To edit an existing table parameter while in the Block Editor, double-click the parameter icon, or type BTABLE in the Command line and press Enter.

Options within the command

Palette
Allows you to decide whether to display the Block Table custom property in the Properties panel.

Select between the Yes or No options.

Number of grips
0
No grips are displayed in the block reference. Instead, the selected geometry can be edited in the Properties panel.

A grip is displayed at just the endpoint of the parameter.
