Create an ordinate dimension that measures the x or y distance from the current UCS origin to a specified point in the drawing. The dimension is based on the current dimension style. Options allow you to specify the angle and contents of the dimension text.

Allows you to begin creating an ordinate dimension by specifying a start point for the leader.
Leader endpoint
Specifies an endpoint for the leader. The direction you drag from the start point determines whether you create an X or Y ordinate.

Specifies the endpoint for an X ordinate regardless of which direction you drag from the start point.
Ydatum
Specifies the endpoint for a Y ordinate regardless of which direction you drag from the start point.
Text
Allows you to enter text to override the default dimension text which includes the measured length of the dimension. You can use two angle brackets <> to display the measured length of the dimension in addition to other text.
Angle
Specifies the angle of the dimension text. A value of 0 aligns the dimension text with the dimension line. Any other value rotates the dimension text relative to the x-axis of the current UCS.
