-HYPERLINK command

Links files or web pages with entities in the drawing via Command line.

Description

Associates various kinds of files or web pages to the selected entities through the Command line.

Note: This command is meant for use by macros and LISP routines.

Options within the command

Remove
Removes hyperlinks attached to the selected entities.
Insert
Adds a hyperlink to one or more selected entities.
Enter URL
Specifies the path file or the web page.
Enter named location
Specifies a bookmark name.
Note: The # character specifies locations (bookmarks) within files or web pages.
Enter description
Adds an additional description of the hyperlink.
Overwrite
Yes
Allows you to replace the existing hyperlink with a new one.
No
Leaves the existing hyperlink as it is and exits the command.
Note: The Overwrite option appears in the Command line only if the selected entity already has an attached hyperlink.
