SCANINTERFERENCES command (Experimental)

Identifies and manages interference between 3D solids or block references in complex 3D models.

Disclaimer

The SCANINTERFERENCES command is an experimental feature which may not yet be stable, and could be removed in the future. Use the MANAGEEXPERIMENTALFEATURES command to enable or disable experimental features.

The Experimental mode is disabled by default. Enabling or disabling the Experimental mode requires a restart of BricsCAD.

Method

Opens the Interference Manager panel if it was previously closed. See also the Interference Manager panel (Experimental) article.

Options within the command

select Entities
Defines the selection set.
Select entities in the drawing
Allows you to select entities (3D Solids or Block References) in the drawing.
select Entire drawing
Selects all entities in the drawing.
between Two sets
Searches for interference between two distinct sets of entities.
select First set
Selects the first set of entities for scanning.
select Second set
Selects the second set of entities for scanning.
inside One set
Searches for interference inside a set of entities.
SETtings

Calculates the clash volume.

Yes
Sets value to 1.
No
Sets value to 0.
load Named study
Loads a previously saved scan.
Run Scan
Runs the scanning.
